A Host Home Provider is many things to many people. Ultimately, a Host Home Provider is an individual or family who wishes to include an adult with a developmental and/or intellectual disability into their home and family. This calling is not for everyone; a Host Home Provider is a compassionate, driven, and dedicated provider who believes that there is no limit to what any person can accomplish and will assist in every way to ensure that those goals are achieved. Likewise, Bridges of Colorado is committed to supporting our Host Home Providers in this passionate endeavor as we build stronger relationships by empowering our Host Home Providers and the people we support.

WHO LIVES IN A HOST HOME?
Bridges of Colorado supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have a wide range of abilities and areas in which they need support. It is our goal to find the perfect home for the people we support; a home in which they can prosper and grow and where they are welcomed as a member of the family.
WHERE ARE HOST HOMES LOCATED?
Bridges of Colorado has numerous host homes located throughout the greater metro area, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Fort Collins, and Greeley. Each host home offers different areas of specialty, has different layouts, and works on fitting individual needs.
WHAT DOES A HOST HOME PROVIDER DO?
The responsibilities of a Host Home Provider vary depending on the of level of support needed by the individual. Examples of some of the supports given are: assistance with bathing, transportation, scheduling appointments, house hold tasks, behavior supports and other activities of daily living. All Host Home Providers are trained by Bridges of Colorado Management to ensure that they are competent in completing the daily record keeping required by the State of Colorado.
Bridges of Colorado’s host homes are all monitored closely and we ensure that each consumer is receiving the highest level of care.
WHAT BRIDGES CAN DO FOR YOU AS A PROVIDER:
• High daily rates that are tax free (SIS Level and actual amounts)
• Personalized 1:1 support from Contract Managers
• 24hr on call service
• Bi-monthly gatherings with other HHP’s covering topics of interests and support
• Ongoing RSPO support
• Room and board based on individual social security amounts paid out with no percentage taken out from BOC
